Our fabulous boutique has been named one of Home Accents Today’s Retail Stars for 2019 by editors of the premier trade magazine for the home accents industry. For 15 years, the magazine Home Accents Today has celebrated and recognized entrepreneurial retailers that have a “special spark,” providing a new level of customer service while also establishing community relationships and customer loyalty through quality product, vested time, and adaptations to marketing technologies. As stated by Home Accents Today business editor Thomas Lester, "Home Accents Today's 2019 Retail Stars list showcases some of the best independent home décor and home furnishings retailers in the country. They are rising above the challenges of an ever-changing retail environment and are raising the bar for their innovations in marketing and merchandising strategies, customer service and community contributions. This annual honor recognizes their skills, hard work and dedication, and should serve as a reminder to us all to support local businesses.” The incredible 2019 Retail Stars list features and highlights 55 of the best independent retailers in home accents and accessories in the United States and Canada. We are honored to be recognized not only for our years of brick-and-mortar based customer service but also for our technological presence and social media growth, seizing the opportunity for greater service in interior design.
This year’s honorees call 23 states and one Canadian province their home, though many also have stores beyond those borders. Texas leads the way this year with five Retail Stars, including a cluster in the greater Dallas area. Ohio, Colorado and New York have four Stars each while Virginia, Arizona, Florida, California and North Carolina each have three honored stores. Louisiana, Tennessee, South Carolina, Kentucky, Georgia, Illinois, Washington and Connecticut have a pair of Stars while Iowa, North Dakota, Mississippi, Indiana, Arkansas, British Columbia and Oregon each have a single Star. Fellow stores and designers mentioned include Coco & Dash in Dallas and IBB Design Fine Furnishings in Frisco, as well as other North Carolina based Accent Prone in Kernersville and Furnitureland South in Jamestown.

The history behind the name “Teramasu” is based off the true love story between Terrie Moses and Kevin King. While in a long-distance romance, Kevin would often say “Terrie I miss you,” giving Terrie the nickname “Teramasu.” As their story continued and the time came for Terrie to name her company, the unique and meaningful nickname was an easy choice.
